Kitchen and Dining
Amazon is one of my favourite places to stock up on kitchen and dining supplies. They have a huge selection of products that ranges from practical and essential to decorative and beautifying. For many of us, especially those of us who love to cook, these are the best finds of the day. I love items that are both practical and beautiful like the Martha Stewart line of products. If you don’t have an Instant Pot, now is the time to buy one at an amazing price. Ours is a huge timesaver and makes weekday mealtimes much smoother.
Home Organizing
Home organizing is one of my favourite decorating pastimes. I love having an organized pantry, closet, or cupboard, not to mention the bigger spaces like the mudroom or family room. Amazon really shines when it comes to home organization and I was thrilled to see today’s deals in this category.
Rugs and Textiles
When I start a decorating project, I often start with finding the rug. If you want to update your existing room, a new rug is a great starting point to base the entire room refresh on. Amazon has such a great selection of name-brand rugs that I know and love. After choosing the rug, I typically layer in additional textiles such as drapes, pillows, blankets, and table linens. I usually look for materials that are durable and soft, and I especially love linen and cozy fabrics.
Bedding and Bedroom Decor
It’s been said that we spend a third of our life in bed, so I think we should splurge a little in the bedding and bedroom decor category. However, these are items that need to be replaced fairly often, so it’s important to find a balance between quality and affordability, which is where Amazon comes in. I found some great deals that are worth stocking up on. If you don’t have a Mulberry silk pillowcase, I urge you to try it out. It results in uncrumpled hair and none of those pillow wrinkle lines on your face in the morning.
Home Decor Accessories
As a home decor blogger, I feel fairly qualified to make recommendations here. It was a challenge to limit the included items to just a few. I chose items that I think every home can use, those items that I recommend to my decor clients time and again. Pillows and blankets are such an easy and affordable way to freshen up your decor. I’ve included three of my favourites that I’ve used in my own home or client’s homes with great success.
Outdoor Decor and Gardening
This section is for the person who loves to spend time in the garden, either actively gardening or relaxing and taking it all in. There are so many different ways to enjoy being outdoors and I’m happy to see that Amazon has picked up on this with their outdoor sale items. I included the essentials here for sitting and enjoying the sights of the patio and garden.
Housekeeping
We don’t like to dwell on the topic of housekeeping but we all have to devote some time each week to housekeeping tasks. I have my housekeeping schedule down to a (rapid) art and in this post, I’m sharing some of the ways I’m able to keep my time spent on housekeeping to a minimum. There are a few very handy items that help me out each and every week and I’m excited to see that some of them are on sale today!
