With Canadian Thanksgiving weekend approaching in just a few days, many of us will be looking to put together a welcoming table worthy of our beloved guests. In this post, Farmhouse Fall Harvest Tablescape, I’m sharing how to create an easy and beautiful Thanksgiving tablescape. I embraced the warm harvest tones this year with the balancing touch of my signature whites and neutrals. I hope this post helps you put together a feast-worthy table.

Table Linens
I used a light natural linen tablecloth from Cozy Linen to cover the entire table. The beautiful gold napkins are from Not Perfect Linen. Using real linen often means you can choose from a huge variety of colours and these linens will last for many years and just get softer and prettier with each use.
Place Settings
I started with these lovely water hyacinth chargers and napkin rings, which add textural interest and warmth. Next, I used some simple off-white stoneware chargers from Pottery Barn and layered on the cute pumpkin plates from Bico Ceramics. The pumpkin plates come in a set of four with four different pumpkin colours that look fabulous together.
Glassware
For this fall tablescape, I used simple cut glass goblets that are great for year-round usage. I also think that coloured glass in an amber or olive green colour would work beautifully with this table.
Centerpiece
For the centerpiece, I used a distressed wooden box that I created for my Etsy shop, Willow Bloom Market. I filled the pine box with white sunflowers, mini pumpkins, eucalyptus, and brown seed pods. This is a quick and simple way to create a centerpiece that is neat and tidy. Additionally, it can be easily removed if you need space on your table for other things.
Thanksgiving Entertaining Ideas
Here is one more photo from our dining room. I decorated the shelves with additional pumpkin plates, a few pumpkins, and two large urns filled with hydrangeas from the garden.
I’m sharing my Thanksgiving tablescapes from previous years to give you additional table decor ideas. Here is my Easy Pumpkin Tablescape for Fall. If you love pumpkins, then take a peek at this post.
And here is my Budget Friendly Rustic Fall Tablescape from last year. I used warmer colours with the rustic golds of bartlett pears and the metallic glimmer of copper. This was a use-what-you-have kind of tablescape.
Charcuterie Board
A pretty charcuterie board makes a great appetizer to serve while the main course cooks in the oven. It’s perfect for adults and children and can be customized based on your guest’s likes and dislikes.
Tiered Tray
You also might consider styling a tiered tray on a table near the front hall or on your kitchen island. It’s an easy way to set the scene and give your home a festive feel.
Recipes
Some of my favourite fall recipes include my crusty bread recipe and my carrot and roasted pepper soup recipe. These are simple but delicious recipes that are perfect for your Thanksgiving dinner first course, or for an easy and hearty luncheon.
Summary
Thank you for reading about my farmhouse fall harvest tablescape. I tried to keep this post short so that you could get some quick ideas for your Thanksgiving table. I know this is a busy time of year and decorating may not take top priority. I’d really like to take this opportunity to wish you a very happy Thanksgiving this year!
