Launch of my Fall Etsy Décor Line

Are you excited for fall décor? I sure am! There’s something about the cool, crisp air that puts me in a candle-lighting, pumpkins-everywhere, cinnamon latte-drinking mood. Fall truly involves all the senses and is a favourite time of year for many. In this post, I share with you the launch of my fall Etsy décor line. I share photos of my new items for 2020, ideas for how to incorporate them into your home, and an exclusive coupon code for my Etsy shop, Willow Bloom Wreaths.

What is Etsy?

In case you’re not familiar with Etsy, it’s an online marketplace featuring handmade and vintage items from around the world. You can search for millions of unique and beautiful items and have them delivered to your door. Etsy is one of my favourite places to find gifts for special occasions, home décor items such as pillows and wood signs, and digital products such as printable invitations and artwork.

Launch of my Fall Etsy Décor Line

The two biggest launches of the year for my Etsy shop are fall and Christmas. Of the two, I think I prefer fall because it is my favourite time of year to decorate for, and because the fall launch happens in the summer. This means that I have more time to let the creative process unfold and to get busy making things. Christmas is always a bit trickier as this launch happens in October, which is a very busy time for our family and my business. I make each and every item in my shop and love creating new items. I think I would be bored if I had to make the same item over and over again for years. That’s why my shop is constantly evolving and new products emerging.

Fabric Pumpkins

Last year, fabric pumpkins were new to my Etsy shop and I offered them in ticking stripe and a peach fabric. This year, I have tweaked the design and added more fabric options. There are eight fabric choices in total and two sizes to choose from. I sell them in sets of three and you can mix and match fabrics any way you like. 

These pumpkins can be styled in so many ways. They can be used on a coffee table or fireplace mantle, displayed in a simple basket or on their own with a fall floral stem (think wheat, cream or rust coloured berries, cotton stems, or sunflowers). They also look adorable on a tray or tiered tray with dishes and florals. And they can be used in tablescapes, as part of the centrepiece, or as a plate topper/name tag holder.

They also make great gifts, either as a set of three pumpkins or in my new gift boxes.

Gift boxes

Gift boxes or care packages are a brand new product for me. This type of item is trending on Etsy right now as people are staying home and may not be able to see loved ones. However, we still want to send gifts for special occasions and let our friends and family know we care. I have always loved putting together gifts and gift baskets for loved ones and teachers, so creating these boxes was an easy step for me to take. There are several different boxes and they include fabric pumpkins, table runners, cute burlap banners, and/or beaded garlands. I offer a variety of colours too, so there’s something for everyone’s sense of style. Upon request, I’m happy to include a card and personal message for the recipient.

Wreaths

When I first started my home décor business, I created only wreaths. However, over the past five years, I have expanded to include many other handmade décor items. This fall, I’m offering four styles of wreaths. My rope wreath is my all-time best seller and I find it works especially well in summer and fall décor settings.

This knitted wreath is a new product this year and creates such a cozy vibe in your home.

My floral wreaths are evocative of fall and falling leaves and offer a burst of colour.

I’m a big advocate for displaying wreaths in unusual and creative ways throughout the home. Of course, they are perfect on the front door, but they also look lovely over a fireplace or bed, on a mirror, or above a kitchen hood fan.

Beaded Garlands

For fall, I’ve expanded my line of beaded garlands to include beautiful crochet beads. I also offer a variety of different tassels and ribbons. Beaded garlands are perfectly displayed in a basket or on a tiered try. They also look lovely wrapped around a large glass bottle like a demi john.

Burlap Banners

I have a wide range of burlap banners for fall and Thanksgiving. I’m also happy to create custom banners. I use banners below my fireplace mantle and hanging from open shelves in various rooms of our home. The mini banners look cute on a tiered tray.

Table Linens

This fall, I’m continuing to offer my popular ticking stripe runners and burlap and lace table runners. And I also have coordinating dinner napkins, placemats, and tea towels.

What’s in the Works?

This past weekend, I launched my reusable fabric masks. And coming soon, I will offer craft kits, Christmas décor (including brand new tree ornaments), and Christmas gift boxes. I’m excited about each and every one of these things.
