Easter is only one week away now, but with the current world situation, most of us won’t be holding large family gatherings. We can still try to pay homage to our personal traditions by setting a pretty table and enjoying a lovingly prepared meal with our immediate family. That’s what we hope to do. Doing this will keep our spirits up and remind us of the meaning of Easter. In this post, I show you how to create a pretty pink Easter tablescape, including all the sources and a couple of DIY ideas.
Tablecloth
I chose this simple linen tablecloth from Cozy Linen with its subtle woven stripes in shades of white and pale grey. The light colour of the tablecloth allows the centerpiece to stand out and makes the space feel light and bright. If you have a white or light-coloured table, you could skip the tablecloth.
Centerpiece
The base of the centerpiece consists of two faux seeded eucalyptus garlands. I added two shades of faux pink flowers on top of the eucalyptus garlands. To do this, I cut the individual stems and interspersed them throughout the greenery. Next, I added about 10 of my hand-painted Easter eggs to give the centerpiece its Easter charm. Alternatively, you could use any colour of eggs and that could be your colour inspiration for the rest of your tablescape. I’ve never used pink for my Easter décor before, so I thought it would be fun.

Place Settings
These white scalloped dinner plates, which were a wedding gift, form the base of the place setting. Next, I layered black and white ticking stripe napkins on and added my beloved bunny luncheon plates. These plates come in a sweet set of 4 and each of the plates features a different bunny. We ordered two sets as we are a family of 5 and also like to have extras on hand for entertaining.
The bunny plates were then topped with mini white decorative birdcages, each protecting a pretty speckled egg on a nest of Spanish moss. These are faux eggs that I painted and added speckling to. In future years, if you were hosting a party, you could add a personalized tag to the egg and allow your guests to take them home. At a children’s table, you could fill the birdcages with a toy wind-up chick or candy as a take-home souvenir. The classic crystal water goblets used here work with pretty much any décor, which is why I use them so often.

Tablescape components
When decorating your table for any occasion, think about these components: a tablecloth or runner, a centerpiece, and a place setting. The place setting can include chargers, plates, napkins, name tags, glassware, cutlery, and other decorative elements like the birdcages in this post. Additionally, you can dress up your chairs with slipcovers, or ribbon and decorative elements tied to the chair backs.
I hope you have enjoyed reading about how I created this pretty pink Easter tablescape. We’re keeping it simple this year and I wanted to share how easy it is to create this look. If you missed my Easter home tour last week, you can find it here. I sincerely wish you all a happy Easter with many blessings.
