Floral trends tend to come and go pretty quickly and I wanted to find some on-trend neutral faux florals that will add the perfect touch of fall without breaking the bank. I found a great selection of affordable florals, and a few cute pumpkins and vases, that you can start adding to your decor now. In my post, The Best Affordable Fall Florals And How I Used Them, I’m sharing how to get the best price on these florals and how to style them in your home. If you’ve been waiting to bring out the fall decor, now is the perfect time to add some simple and easy touches like the ones I’m sharing here.

Colour Palette
This fall, I’m using a neutral palette of cream, beige, medium brown, and a few touches of caramel. I’ve kept the decor really neutral and chose florals in shades of cream and brown to coordinate. As a result, I’m quite certain that I will be able to use these florals in other seasons. My inspiration for this season’s neutral palette came from this nature-inspired gallery wall I recently installed in our living room.
You can see that the items I purchased on my recent shopping trip to Michaels and IKEA fit right into the existing neutral colour palette in our home. Even if your home is more colourful, you can still use neutral florals to add a touch of nature and a sense of calmness.
The Best Affordable Fall Florals
I found all of my fall florals at Michaels. Additionally, I found a few vases and cute fall accessories there too. And the chair pads were on clearance at IKEA for less than $7 each. Everything from Michaels was on sale with their popular buy one, get one free deal. I always wait for the BOGO sale at Michaels to score inexpensive good-quality stems.
These are the stems I purchased and used in my arrangements:
- Cream berry bush
- Sage eucalyptus bush
- Cream sunflower bush
- Cream strawflower bush
- Cream decorative pumpkin bag
- Cream pampas grass bush
I will be able to use all these stems in other seasons with the exception of the pumpkins. The creamy tones can be mixed to lovely effect with florals in shades of orange, peach, plum, or yellow. They can be used in tablescapes and outdoor arrangements or even in wreaths.
How I Arranged The Best Affordable Fall Florals
I created three faux arrangements to add some fall charm to our home this fall. I will most likely round out my fall florals with some fresh flowers and stems- hydrangeas, roses, and baby’s breath and a few faux oak leaf garlands that I purchased last season. This is just the start of my fall decorating.
Fall Florals In A Large Modern Vase
For this arrangement, I used one cream berry bush, three sage eucalyptus bushes, two cream sunflower bushes, and one cream strawflower bush. The cream flowers and stems are bunched together in the middle and are surrounded by the draped eucalyptus bushes. The Quin Handcrafted Ceramic Vase (the small size) from Pottery Barn is the perfect shape and size for this arrangement. I place the whole arrangement on a natural woven tray to give the arrangement more presence on the table. The great thing about this arrangment is that you can scale it up or down to suit the size of your space.
Greenery And Pumpkins In A Low Sculptural Bowl
For this vignette, I used one sage eucalyptus bush, one cream decorative pumpkin bag, and one
cream pampas grass bush. I started by fanning out a eucalyptus bush and placing it in the bottom of a low decorative bowl. Then I placed an entire bag of mini white pumpkins on top.
To complete the vignette, I added a vase of pampas grass and a small cake stand with a couple of faux pumpkins. You could place this vignette on a coffee table, console table, or sideboard.
I also like the look of this arrangement on top of the piano. I have to say that I love these sage eucalyptus bushes from Michaels because they’re so realistic. They have a slightly faded, weathered look and a slight papery feel that makes them look and feel like real dried eucalyptus.
Dual Rustic Vases With Textural Stems
For this dual vase arrangment, you will need one cream berry bush and one cream pampas grass bush. I found the small vases at Michaels (not available online) and simply trimmed the cream berry bush stem to fit nicely in the shorter vase. Then I placed the pampas grass bush in the taller vase. This is a nice monochromatic arrangement that looks great on the fireplace mantle. Alternativley, you could use it on a side table, or fill additional vases for a beautiful table centerpiece.

Hello!
In spring/summer I tend to bring the outside in. With cut flowers everywhere I can put them, so between Summer and Christmas I do struggle with fresh ideas – and affordable ones! Thanks again for the inspiration.
